Colin Diaz, ACE, IOM
Western Regional Director
Colin Diaz joined CICE in 2025 as Western Regional Director. In this role, Colin is responsible for outreach to chambers of commerce and economic development organizations across Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado — positioning them to be thought leaders in their communities on the economic and business benefits of clean energy.
Colin brings more than 15 years of chamber leadership experience, with a strong track record in public policy advocacy, strategic partnerships, and community-based economic development. Prior to joining CICE, he served as President & CEO of multiple chambers of commerce, helping guide organizations through strategic transformations and sustainable growth initiatives.
Colin holds a BA in Film and Digital Media and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz; an MBA from Duke University; and an MFA from Chapman University. He is an Accredited Chamber Executive (ACE) through the Western Association of Chamber Executives, has earned his IOM designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute of Organizational Management, holds a Certificate in Workforce Development Fundamentals from ACCE, and completed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Business Leads Fellowship Program.
Colin lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife, Alicia, two daughters, and their Siberian husky , Heartbeat. He also serves at his local church, and in his daughters’ school as a coach and volunteer.
