This event will focus on the growing business demand for clean energy and economic benefits it brings to local communities. Attendees will learn why good energy policies are critical to further economic development from companies seeking access to clean energy, such as Apple and Amazon.

Attendees will also learn about exciting new programs established as a result of comprehensive legislation passed at the General Assembly last session, and how these programs can help your chamber and member businesses.

Officials from the Department of Environmental Quality will also be in attendance to kick-off a new voluntary corporate partnership program for companies wishing to accelerate the transition to a low carbon economy. The goals are to support, encourage and accelerate voluntary strategies and actions for environmental sustainability and recognize self-paced voluntary actions at all levels.
